I purchased a white cotton peasant blouse at a yard sale that had a stain on the lace. A magazine article I read said hydrogen peroxide and sunlight would remove the stain and it did-but the hydrogen peroxide spread thru the fabric & my blouse had a big yellowy stain. How do I get it to be all white again?? I've used a baking soda paste which helps, but would like to use something somewhat quicker.

Have you tried putting some bluing in the wash? Be careful to dilute it as if you use to much or it isn't diluted it can leave blue stains, but it will get yellow out of whites. Good luck!
