September 13-16th, 2012
This is the same weekend as the Junk Bonanzahttp://junkbonanza.com/, as well as our local "Farm Pride" parade on Saturday. We will be marching farmgirl style in the parade and spreading the farmgirl love to all around us. No matter what, we'll be having a blast hanging out the rest of the weekend on our farm.
*It would be primitive glamping as we aren't set up to run electricity and water to all your beautiful campers, but we think you might be able to rough it for a few days of fun! :) There are also local hotels and b&b's if you'd rather glamp that way too! Tents are also another option, as that is what me and my girls will be doing that weekend!
*We're working on all the details, but we need to get started on the planning process and want ya'll to get this date on the calendar.
*Please let me know if you are a strong yes or maybe. So I can tell the mister what we're looking at! :)
ACTIVITIES:
Junkin' at the JUNKBONANZA on Friday - http://junkbonanza.com/
Checkin' out local antique and boutique stores along the way.
Enjoyin' the Dozinky Festival on Saturday and marching in the parade farmgirl style! http://www.newprague.com/dozinky/
Glampin' it up! Glamper Tours and Awards! Time to get your "Glam" on!
CLASSES/WORKSHOPS:
Beginning Drop-Spindle Spinning Class - taught by our Alpaca lovin' local farmgirls.
Tarning and Beginning Crochet Class - taught by Diane aka "fiddleheadfarm"
Dutch Oven Cooking - Get your dutch ovens ready, we'll be learning some new campfire cooking recipes/skills!!!
MEALS:
Classic Camp Food - make your own meal in classic camping fashion!
Dutch Oven Potluck - try out your dutch oven skills and serve up something tasty for all us girls to share!
Dinner Under the Stars - enjoy a luxurious "Glamping Under the Stars" dinner with April and her family.
Sunday Afternoon Picnic - bring your blanket, your basket and some grub! Enjoy your last meal of the weekend picnic style.
***All other meals are on your own. You can make them or eat out. It's up to you!***

I am hoping I can come..so we 'll say maybe. How old are your girls? The junk bonanza sounds like great fun as I love that sort of thing and I am sure the parade would be fun as well. I have never done anything like this before so I feel somewhat like a giddy teenager. Really hope I can come.

Hey there,
I can't make it that week-end, but I just want to give a big SHOUT OUT to Junk Bonanza. I got the coolest tree made from twisted barbed wire the last time I was there. I'm bummed I'll be missing it (but I'll be flea-marketing in France, so don't cry for me!!).
