Hi ladies,

Please keep The Hinsons and The Willsons in your upcoming prayers this week. My brother and his family, my parents and hubby and I are going on our first cruise!! Brother and SIL have been before

Deep down, Dean is kind of worried. He has rheumatoid arthritus and is afraid he is going to be sick or catch some bad cootie.

Please pray we all stay healthy and return safely!

Really cool thing?? Most of this travel for us is due in part to saving egg and jam $$. Makes it that much more special!

We fly out of Tampa tomorrow and set sail Sunday--YEA!!!

Thanks so much

p.s. Will be using automatic deer feeders to feed the chickens. Well, duh!

Have a great time! Just remember to wash your hands very very often. Soap and hot water! Wash them well for a couple of minutes and rub the fingernails. Have him carry a small hankerchief and when he opens doors to open them with the hankie in his hand. That will cut down on virus contact to some degree. Keep rested on the cruise without packing in too many activities. If he begins to get seasick, go right away to the medical area on board and get a patch to wear to keep him from sea sickness. Be sure to disclose any meds you are on to the doctor. Many people cruise with no problems at all. Have fun!

I went on my first cruise last Sept. and I was terrified. It turned out to be a fabulous! I loved it and had NO problems. I'm sure it will be the same way for him too. Saying a little prayer. Have fun! Joey

Thank you so much for the prayers and thoughts!

All 10 of us did very well- no problems at all!

The smallest gestures were the little disposable toilet paper-like clothes you could find everywhere on the ship in the bathrooms. Smart move since dirty door handles in bathrooms are germ vectors for sure!

There were also hand sanitizer kiosks at the beginning of every buffet cue line . LIKE that too, since so many times we were far away from our rooms.

If anyone else were to be traveling, my best advice would be to carry Bonine. This can be taken at any time motion sickness strikes. My mom needed this when we were whipping around 1 lane back country roads in Honduras. And also activated charcoal capsules. With my odd stomach issue , I had one mornings worth of discomfort (mostly thanks to greasy fried potatoes) and this cleared up FAST! You just have to be sure and drink lots of water. Activated charcoal is supposed to cling to bad bacteria and aid in stopping food poisioning....so I'll be packing this along for any travels away from home-even in the states!

Other than that.....we all had a great time. Waters were crystal clear and hubby enjoyed himself indeed!!

Thanks again!!!
