I like to plan way ahead of time for Christmas. I have noticed a few others, who mainly give handmade presents during the holidays, who start even earlier than I, and stash them away in a rubbermaid tote (which I think is a great idea).

I've done everything from sewing shirts and quilts, to knitting baby toys and even stockings (newlywed BIL). Last year, we assembled gift baskets of snacks, drinks and a book/DVD according to each family member's likes (impractical for shipping, btw).

This year, I'm on an ornament kick. LOVE THEM! My niece and I have already made some heart-shapes from clay. And there are so many cute tutorials online and at the craft stores.

I was wondering if anyone has any cute and/or classy ideas for ornaments? (Maybe even organize a swap later on.)

Oh....that place scares me. The kids will have to peel me off the computer chair at wee hours in the night (he he he!) I tend to get sucked into it and spend too many hours looking. But oh so fun!

I don't go on only to find something that I logged into a board when I need it, ... there are people who must spend hours there tho!

I often find though, that a lot of the pins are just repins of other repins. Generally I use it as a place to keep ideas, while I continue to find other ideas. :)

Lots of my ornaments lately have been ideas from Pinterest.

I use it as it was suppose to be used, a pinboard to hold all the stuff I see, so I don't have to keep it on my computer. It is GREAT for that!

I took a drive to town yesterday, so you'll soon see some new ornaments on my blog for sale. I do have other ideas on my S.C.R.A.P. blog. Nothing fancy, but fun.

I created a new ornament that is on my S.C.R.A.P. Blog today. I'm not selling them, but making a few for Christmas gifts this year. I'll be adding a few more if time allows it.

Grace, there is a felt ornament pattern in a library book I have right now. It made me think of you and glamping. I'll try to scan the photo and e-mail it you.
