Hi ladies! Some of us have a real skill at decorating and pulling a room, or corner, together. Me, not so much. I love looking at magazine pictures and I know there's got to be some lovely decorating ideas out there from some of you. It's not always crafted items or even thrift store items that make a room, though I'm a sucker for Goodwill and consignment shops.
So...if you have a picture or idea you'd like to share of a room, corner, bookshelf, china cabinet display, organizational idea, inside or outside room, garden display, etc., please post them! Also, any info on where you got your items.
Or if you're stuck and can't quite seem to get the look you want, maybe you could post a pic and ask for advice.

Hi Julie :) I thought I'd get the ball rolling LOL I would like to share some pictures of my sewing center, housed in my closet. The pictures were taken after I got it together, now it needs straightened up & my machine needs a good dusting. I have a lot of pictures of my decor, I like to take pictures so I can remember where things were, in case I move them around & wish to return them in that order ;)

Here's a pic of my little spot on the bathroom vanity. Please forgive the socket, we're still remodeling.
Everything is sitting on a round wall mirror I picked up at Target. There's some little jewelry on a plate DH bought me 10 years ago. The candle belongs to DD, but she didn't want it anymore. The tall glass container holds some of the many soaps I have made over the last year. The squirrel was a gift from DD. I've been noticing a trend of putting a little pastel color into some of my displays. I think it softens it up just a little bit.
