Hey Farmgirls! I have an Etsy shop (also called BohemianFarmgirl) and while I love the crafting, I do not enjoy taking the photos and setting up listings. Does anyone know a good craft broker? Has anyone used a broker before? What was your experience? I want to open a kids shop too, but dread the set up of the whole thing. I just want to create!!

I know what you mean. But selling is part of the process. I also love to create but I can only use so much myself or give as gifts. I must support my creativity by selling. Etsy is time consuming (I hate taking the photos) I have often thought of selling for others but you have to have a guaranteed selling product to make it worth while. I sell on etsy but have much better luck doing consignment at local galleries and shops. Most take around 35% commission and are easy to work with. (I have only got taken once in about 12 years). You items would sell nicely in a country decor shop, gift shop or antique store. Look around and see what is out there. Don't be bashful and believe in your product. The worst that can happen is they can tell you no. Make sure you emphasize what has sold good on Etsy that always helps. Do you have any local craft fairs? If you can find one that the booth fee isnt too spendy this is another way to sell. I hate sitting at them all day and set up and take down is alot of work, so I only do my local one once a year but it is worth it and I get to visit with folks I never see otherwise.
