Thank you everyone for your responses!

I will post partners on the 25th or 26th (I'm on the road this week for work so my internet availability is sketchy for the next few days)

--------

June 24, OK the swap is on!
We will swap homemade or farmer's market jam, jelly, or honey.
Please limit the jar size to 1/2 pints.
Give me your mailing address by e-mailing me through the forum.

I 'll close the sign up on July 24th and post the partners by the end of that Day. The Mail Out deadline August 1st.

--------------

I would be happy to organize if any one is interested.

Home made is what I intend, but if there are some fantastic farmer's market finds, that would be cool too.

I also think they shouldn't be larger than a 1/2 pint.

What do you all think darling farm gals?

I think it would be nice to include some tips and ideas on how to use the jam/jelly/honey, especially jelly b/c I often don't know what to use it with!

I would like to join. Am a bit afraid of shipping a jar of jelly without it breaking.

Pack it with the thick styrofoam and peanuts. that keeps it pretty safe.
I am going to watch the farmers markets and local stores for jams, jellys, and honey.. I get on it right away.
thanks.

I would like to join this swap! I just canned some fresh raspberry and black-cap preserves. I hosted a jam swap last year. Found out that anything over a 1/2 pint is expensive to ship.

Good question!
I plan to match everyone up with 1 partner, so you only have to send 1 jar.

Oh, this sounds yummy - count me in please. Let me know what info you need if any. My hubby might want to get in on this one, he makes great jelly from different grapes, etc. that grow around here. I'll let you know.

Somewhere someone mentioned they would like some ideas on how to use the different jams, jellies, etc. It's just an idea, but how about if everyone includes one recipe that can allow for them to be used in it. Might add some fun to it. Just an idea.

Probably the internet....
I found a jelly that would be an interesting one. I will see if I can find a recipe to use it for if now I won't use it...
