We decided to enter in the fair this year. I haven't done that in many years.

I will enter a jar of jam
15 yo will enter the Araucanas (one or two chickens)
not sure on the rest yet....sounds like a fund activity for all of us.

Anyone else entering in the fair?

I love the fair! I am pulling to earn Homemaker of the Year by scoring the most points out off all the entries :-D

I'm going to look mine up. I'd love to enter something and I know DD would love to do it, too.

I guess dd won't be entering the chickens. We recently found that the breed we have is rather a "mutt" breed. Then....yesterday one died very quickly after dd tried to save her. It was a very sad day. I have yet to see if the other four are okay today.

Oh Kristina,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your DD's chicken. I hope the others are doing ok.

Kristina, can she still do showmanship with the chickens? Usually they don't mind what breed they are for showmanship~~

I'll ask her. Thanks! We've entered in the fair before, but never animals.
