Saturday, my beautiful niece married her best friend. Gorgeous ceremony. I barely noticed the photographer. I was too busy watching the little girl I helped raise. Today I was on facebook looking at the pictures of the wedding. I clicked on one trying to see some people in the back ground and a name popped up. The photographer was one of my bff's in high school! We didn't even recognize each other! We have connected on facebook and have promised to keep in touch. It's been 22 years since I saw her last!
that's the best part of facebook. People make fun of it & yes some people do put way too much personal information on there, but that is the only way I have stayed in touch with some of my friends from school...it's a great thing! Congrats on finding each other again! Beth
How nice. I'm sure y'all will lots to catch up on. Thanks for sharing. Marly
"It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth- and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up- that we will begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had." Elisabeth Kurler-Ross
When things like this happen, I think we are really meant to connect with someone. I suppose we get messages all the time really, whether it's on facebook or MJF or just bumping into someone at the Post Office. Serendipity!
