Not as fancy as some, but we used what we had! Had a blast fishing, gold panning and just plain sitting around. 7 humans and 5 dogs what a herd! Can't wait til the next one.
It was a blast. I know the picture makes it look like we were living it up, but that property has no running water and an outhouse for potty! We slept on cots and even had to fire up the wood burner for a night - it got really cold! On the last night we let the dogs sleep in the cabin with us instead of in the barn. I had all three of my dogs in bed with me! I couldn't move at all. We cooked fish that our friends caught on a fishing trip to Lake Erie and one night we had foot-long hot dogs!
I hope you do this sometime. It really is a lot of fun.
Lora, Your weekend glamping looks AWESOME! So glad you had a good time! Its really the simple things that are the best, isnt it? Were you camping close to home? Was it at a friends property? Sounds wonderful! Hugs,

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..
Laurie - we went to "the farm" - a piece of property owned by my husbands family in southern Indiana. It's about 1.5 hours from our home. It's 60 acres mostly wooded with a pond and it backs up to Sand Creek.
Grace - Thanks! I made those! That was my first attempt at making them. It was fun. I made them just for this outing.
