Hey, Kelly Diane here, farmgirl sister #4115. I'm new to all this and just wanted to introduce myself! I've got a wonderful husband, and 2 amazing girls (ages 4 and 6). I am a stay-at-home mom. My husband used to work all the time, but his job went overseas, so now he's going to school to be an electrical engineer. We live in an apartment off of my parents house, and will continue to until he's done with school (one more year!!) We dream of building our own home and farm, but make the best of our current situation. Looking at the bright side of things, the girls are so happy being close to their grandparents, and I am able to continue to be a stay-at-home mom while we are here, which is very important to us! I love sewing and crafting, and growing things, and playing with my kids. Nice to meet you all, and hope to hear from you soon!

Smile always!

Hi Kelly Diane and welcome to the sisterhood. I know my DH and I made many sacrifices so that I could be a SAHM and each and every sacrifice was worth it. Looking forward to getting to know you more. :)

Great blog by the way.

hugs,
-missy-

Hello from a fellow "New York" farmgirl Kelly! I live on Long Island and have been a part of this wonderful sisterhood for 3 years now (wow time sure does fly when you are having fun!)
As I am sure you can already see, this is a wonderful place with so many warm and welcoming ladies! I'm sure you will fit right in!
Where exactly in New York are you?
Welcome to the farm!

Hi Marlee, thanks for the kind words! Everyone that I've talked to has been so nice, and I'm so glad I joined. How do you like Louisiana? Have you lived there your whole life? I've lived in NY (state) my whole life. We are moving next year though, and we really haven't decided on where yet.ttys

Well, Kelly, the foothills are mainly that...just hills, some are pretty steep....but, yes, I absolutely love it here. You see I was raised about 3 miles from where I live now, on the same gravel road. I have lived other places, but there is no place like home!

Love,
