Got all of my postcards yesterday. Going to work on getting them written up and sent out. It's going to be so fun getting these little works of art in the mail and getting to sneak a peak into other areas of this beautiful country of ours.

I would have never thought to put my postcards in a rack like Connie's and Tammy's! Great idea! I've got a couple years swaps just waiting to be put somewhere on display! My cards are just waiting for stamps! This is one of my favorite swaps!

gals i will be moved by end of june -ceejay will have address update --but if you are on the cusp of mailing to me- either do it now or wait til after june 25th! thx!! i don't wanna miss a single card!!!!!

I just got mine today from VistaPrint.com. They are a pictureI set-up and sent in. Loved how they
turned out and only cost me 12.00 for 100.$ With shipping under $20.00 I Couldn't order in smaller amounts but at that price hey, whose complaining right?
Got my first 7 written out tonight (*hand cramping) or would have done more. First 7 will go out tomorrow.

Well, well, well, if all goes as planned I should have my postcards soon too. I can't let you get too far ahead of me Peggy . I was so proud of myself 'cause I got started on #8 yo-yos, I did six one evening and four later and then I read your reply and saw where you had done seven of each - I'd like to have some of that coffee you've been drinking ( Ha! ). I'm still proud of myself tho'. I know my hands will be cramping too from writing when I get started. I get cramps in them from crocheting 'cause I don't do it often enough, so I guess its a no brainer that I will get them when I start writing, especially if I try to keep up with you miss speedster Peggy. I hope you know I am just giving you a hard time, that means I like you! You just keep on writing girl, I'll be right behind you!

Bought all my cards in various places here...all pretty ones of Thai views etc *__*...will send them in a while...kinda busy right now but luckily we have all summer lol

Just checked and Postcards.com says mine were sent out yesterday and will be here tomorrow. I too used a picture I took of one of my most favorite California vacation spots :)

talken...I bet most of the other yoyo gals haven't even started yet...so you are a
speedster too.
On the postcards I write too much (*big blabber) and that's what takes me so long to
do them. Glad we have all summer on both...aren't you?

I cannot even tell you how excited I am this year ,to get in on this swap!! I have loved mail since I was a kid! sending off for stuff from the back of the cereal box, and writing letters to friends and family in the Army. Pen Pals from the Jack and Jill magazine. I always wanted to be a Mail Woman!I spoil my mail carrier, with gifts for all Holidays, Strawberry Jam in the Summer, Bottles of Water in the Hot Weather, Home made Candy at Valentines and Thanksgiving, Christmas and Halloween.She always leaves me a Hand Written note in the box. More Mail! LOL!

Peggy - I had written a reply to you that had turned out to be a 'novel' and I was hoorahing you about calling me a speedster and how funny that was and right when I was signing it at the end it decided to go belly up and I lost every bit of it - wouldn't you know. Murphy strikes again!
Rather than take the time to try to redo it I will suffice to say you would have gotten a real belly laff or two from it as I was making fun of myself and my husband. (By the way he got a real kick out of the fact that you called me a speedster!) He said, 'Does she know that your favorite saying is that you have one speed and it's slow?'
Anyway,as I started to say, I am gonna use the time and effort to do some more yo-yos, after all I have a reputation to uphold now!!!
