I got a lovely post card today with a beautiful sunset out over the South Bay of Davis Park with a boat floating in the front. The colors are beautiful

I got a Postcard today from Sherry Buck of Longview Texas!!
All I can say Sherry is Texas looks so flat and you get a Lllloooonnnnggg View alright! LOL
I think we all love where we were raised...and personally I have always been around tall trees and
high Mountains...so to see such flat land...is kind of strange to me. I don't know if I would
like it or not. But I hear that people who grow up in those wide open spaces...feel boxed in
when the visit states like mine. I just find it totally amazing the diverseness of the Land
in this Great Nation of ours.

It has been a good day.
I got a post card today from Marcie in Port Aransas TX That is neat to be able to see the distance you travel from your home to the Mainland. Have you had much trouble getting around if there are hurricanes. Are you on a Military base there?

Just want to say that the rest of my postcards will go out in the mail tomorrow. They are finished but need stamps. This has been great fun. I've enjoyed sharing post cards from our cross country trip with you and really enjoy getting mine from you.
This week I got a postcard from Fran with moonshiner. I got some moonshine when we were in TN but it wasn't easy and it tasted terrible.
I also got Carousel horses from Tammy. I love the "piece of garbage" entry fee.
Laurie sent me a postcard from LI, NY. I especially liked the beach photo. The flowers in the photo are so pretty. Is that at your house?
Thanks to all for the cards. They are getting to me slowly because of being forwarded but I am so enjoying the ones I have received. Always a fun swap. Joey

I have received 31 postcards to date, I am looking forward to the other 8 arriving in my mailbox next week. Thank you farmgirls for all the wonderful postcards, nice to see all the fabulous places that farmgirls live.
I wanted to be sure that everyone has received my postcards, I mailed all of mine July 3rd so y'all should have them by now. If not please, please let me know and I will resend one to you.

i'm back online here to check an address from another thread-Peg in Red moved this summer as did i...once that is done my cards will go out in tomorrow's mail--nothing like waiting til the last minute but hey! someone has to bring up the rear and i'm good at it!!! OR....trying to extend your summer exchange!! yea..i like that one!!!
dutchy's card has to wait til i can get to the Post Office so it may take an extra day or so to get mailed...
i have counted and i have received 27 cards-well wait--who sent the one about dreaming my house was cleaned? that's hanging at work cuz i loved it so! if that was from this exchange then i have received 28 cards...hope the others weren't lost in the move...also a few i have to not count cuz i really think they came during a swap that our henhouse did ....
i started my cards at work months' ago but have not been taking lunches so i kept them at home-then i just...well...wanted to extend your summer exchange! (so how easily i typed that!) this afternoon it was gorgeous sitting in my screened in back porch-not too hot not too cold; re-reading all of your wonderful cards and writing mine; tho the handwriting was getting nasty toward the end!

Well, I got home from a 2-1/2 week vacation last week and found 5 last postcards waiting for me!
Thank you to Karla in Florida (Yay, my sharks tooth made it and it's so cool)! Also to Sherry in Texas who designed the coolest collage postcard of signs and the balloon race in her town of Longview; Tammy B. for the carousel postcard (I have an actual carousel horse. full size, from a turn of the century carousel. I also love to photograph old carousels so this was really special! Thanks also to Sylvia for the postcard of the Lincoln Memorial. We visited Washington D.C. in April, and were lucky enough to visit this site as well as many others. Loved it! Fran, all I can say is how does Moonshine taste...and is it good?? Great card! And, Natalie, I don't blame you for wanting to stay in Montana...it looks beautiful! Where in California are you from?
Thanks to everyone for such a great swap, and to CJ for hosting! The final batch of my cards will go out tomorrow for those who are still waiting for a glimpse of California. I'm sliding into the deadline!

Tammy- I'm from Orange County, and I went to college at Cal Poly SLO, so I have covered the lower half pretty well :)

Up until today I received 20 cards.........Ah well....it is the thought that counts :) Seems that many didn't receive my card as well.....SO Sorry about that :(

@Natalie....I lived in Newport Beach from 1983-1999. Loved my time there. San Luis Obispo is great too...Cambria is one of our favorite California vacation spots!

I received my beautiful fern grott card from Joey from when she was in Hawaii. I have been there myself twice and it truly is a beautiful place.
Joey- My postard was pictures that I've taken both at my house and around the Island. The flower shot is from one of my favorite family run farms- Benners Farm about 20 minutes from my house. Just love that place- its a good old fashioned family run farm- feels like you stepped back in time. The bathtub and glamping shots are of my backyard, and then of course there are the beautiful beach shots from Montauk, the absolute end of Long Island.
Been a great swap ladies- thank you all!

International mail seems to go a lot slower and unpredictable so I'm

Tuesday or Wednesday, or maybe Thursday:)
Love my cards! Thank you everyone. I will treasure them forever.
A lot of neat places I would like to visit. This is my first
