Well, today is my birthday, just 52 years ago! WHEW they go by F-A-S-T!!! I was born on my grandmother's birthday, and named for her....so I'm thinking today that they're all up there having a party in OUR honor! :)
It's actually kinda cool having also shared my birthday with Elvis! While it hasn't been as common in recent years, I usually spent every birthday listening to Elvis music...seems that was all they played!
Happy Birthday to all the other January babies!

My 42nd birthday was on January 6th. It is a busy month for us here. My husband's birthday is Jan. 3rd, and three of my four children, on Jan. 9th, 16th, and 17th!
Being 42 is ok. I wish that my hair wasnt so completely gray and that perimenopause only lasted a minute. I am amazed at how as I get older time moves faster. |

| My bday is July 12, 1969. I was born in the heat of the summer. I'm sure my mom was trilled about that:-) I had my youngest son in September so I know about being big and pregnant through the hot Midwest summer. Whew, thank goodness for air conditioning. |

| My birthday is November 9. I like the idea of fussing over birthdays. My best friend and I always made a big deal over each other's birthdays - visits and dinners and presents and all. I lost her this past year (she was 33) and my birthday and hers were both awful, like suddenly Christmas was just another workday. |

My BD is tomorrow! Last year I woke up, looked in the mirror and siscovered a twangy grey hair rith there in the middle! So where was this little bugger hiding all those other days!? So far no greys.
Hubby and I will spend the day shopping and will wrap it up w/ a nice family dinner w/ my folks.
The getting older part isn't such the bummer, it's waking up some mornings feeling pretty stiff and lacking the youthful spring first thing in the a.m. Once I get moving it's ok
I plan on staying active 'till death do us part! My mother of all people takes a cycling/spinning class at her Y and also does Pilates. She is 63 and still looks great!
