We visited Albquerque today. We wanted to go to Georgia O'Keefe museum but it was closed so we went to the Indian 16 Pueblos museum instead. We ate Frybread and taco fillings for lunch and it was wonderful. There was an Indian group of dancers there that did 3 dances for us and told us about what the dances meant-the stories behind them-and it was all so very interesting. The exhibits were so well staged and we really enjoyed the day. I thought Albquerque would be bigger but it seemed small to us, but an easy town to get around in. On to Santa Fe.

Oh... I ADORE Georgia O'Keefe! Too bad the museum was closed Joey.
When we visited Mt. Rushmore on a 4th of July, part of the day's activities included a show with a young man and his son who did a traditional native American dance. It was soooooo hot that day and I felt really bad for them because of the heavy costumes they wore. I've never seen anything quite like it-Very beautiful!
Sounds like you are clipping right along! Keep us posted Joey-I am thoroughly enjoying this!!
