Has anyone tried or had success with dehydrating beef liver? I'm interested in making dog treats with beef liver and thought that if I dehydrated it, I wouldn't have to keep it in the refrigerator. I saw a recipe for baking it in the oven for a long time at a low temp, but they still suggested that it be kept in the refrigerator. I was wondering about using a dehydrator for it.
