Hubby didn't want me to link our bank account to paypal, so I bought a Wmart money card. It works fine, the problem is the fees. Holy moly, the fees! $3 for this and $3 for that. I bought some things from Amazon and thought all was well. Then today, $1 came out and I don't know what for. When I looked at the Wmart site, it takes 10 days for any complaint to start.
So, what's the best and cheapest way to do online shopping?? I buy mainly from Amazon and Wmart if that helps.

I've had my Paypal linked with my bank account for nearly 10 years & have never had a problem-I would talk to him about doing that-those $3.00 fees are awful!
I too have had my bank account linked with my Paypal account, and in over 10 years have never had a problem (and I used to sell 5-7,000 a week on Ebay).
I think that's what I'm going to need to do. I was thinking of starting another account with the bank strictly for online shopping. Only have enough in the account to cover my shopping.
Just based on customer service alone and great fraud protection with the Chase bank, I'd say go with Amazon/Amazon credit card.
I've been a member sinmce 2006.
Had 2 fraud alerts 3 moths ago when someone hacked into my account from a local gas station and made 2 charges. The fraudualnt charges were caught that same day , tele calls made to my home . I thought they were just tele marketers bothering me and I didn't bother to call back. Chase was right on. Even when I ignored the calls and then made follow up calls a month later when the statement came through, Chase made right- no problems.
Talked to the bank and am going to do a no-fee checking account with a debit card. That's what the ladies who work at the bank do, too. Just enough in it to cover my shopping and I can move money in as I need it.
Anna, thanks for info on Chase. We just got out of Chase a little over a year ago and went to our current bank. Thanks anyway for your response!! :-)
