Any of you fine farmgirls raise heritage rabbit breeds?

I'm considering the Silver Fox breed.

I would love to know what you raise and how you like them!

Californian, These medium weight rabbits(9 pounds)are the No. 2 meat breed because of their superior feed conversion and consistent breeding. Processors love Californians because of their white pelt (which can be dyed any color) and fine bones, meaning lots of meat.

Nice, Deb :) I've heard a lot of good things about the Californians-

I'm trying to keep it to the ALBC Threatened/Critical breeds. I figure that I should help a struggling breed get back on its feet- and cull and eat any checks ;) Two-fer!

I raise Flemish giants and standard rex, both for meat and hide. Cream of the crop goes on to be 4h show rabbits.... Not that many make the cut.
