Dreaming! So glad to hear from you! I was wondering where the seeds were. yes we have 2 rounds going. I just got back the pack from round one so it is finished. Thanks to all who participated! There was a pack of Baker seeds in there that doesnt say what they are. Look like lettuce or carrots? Anyone remember? Please make sure the packs are marked. Dreaming,I will send you an address. Round 2 is about done so I plan to combine the seeds from both rounds and give it one more circle. I have new seeds to add and hope others do as well. Might be too late for this year but we will have a head start for next. So if you want to be apart of the combined rounds let me know so I can get you on the list. Thanks so much for keeping these moving! Sandy

It seems we have a snag again. Becky did you get the pkg of seeds??? I believe it was mailed around May 2oth. Should have been there by now. It was coming from DM. DM do you remember when it was mailed? I know things come up but for the fairness of all involved please try and be prompt in sending this on. Thanks Sandy

Rebecca, We have had a bog again! They are lost somewhere. I am still waiting for them to get back to me to start the next round. Keep in mind that this round will be more for getting seeds for next year. There is another Becky and she has sent the seeds on. Just waiting to find out what happened to them. I will put a note in here when I am ready to start the next round and everyone can yea or nay whether they want to give it a try. I do ask that you be prompt in sending them on. I know everyone is busy but it has taken over 2 monthes to get through 2 people.

I must say I am more than disappointed. Someone in this seed swap has chosen not to follow through and instead keep all the seeds for themselves. The seed swap was almost finished and about to come back to me. I am contacting the last know person to have received them and double checking that she mailed them on. I have tried numerous times to email the person that they were going to. She has never emailed me back which makes me believe it was too much trouble to do what is was right and finish her part in the swap! This has left me with a bad taste and I doubt I will organize one of these swaps again. it is too bad one person can ruin it for everyone. To all of you who participated and did it right, by sharing yours seeds and promptly passing them on I thank you and commend you. I had two rounds going and one finished just fine. The other did not. I had planned on combining the two rounds into one more with fresh seeds from this year but I don't think I will waste my time. If there is a good reason this wasn't completed I will change my tune. But we will see.

Sandy,
I just wanted to thank you for organizing this swap to begin with. I was in on the first round and I was amazed at how many great varieties everyone included - that little plastic envelope was stuffed full! Speaking from the perspective of someone who struggled to uphold a different swap (financial reasons), and then felt horrible and avoided communicating until the swap mama tracked me down, it's never too late to make it right! I'm still working on my end of the swap I joined, sending out postcards to other swap members as I can and I'm finishing up the last few. I still feel rotten because I was so late, even though the swap ladies were VERY understanding, but better because I 'fessed up and am making good on my promise.
Thanks again, Sandy, for hostessing - it was a wonderful swap. I did basil and tomatoes this year and I still have lots of great seeds to plant next year!
