Thank you so much for the honor of FGOTM for August. I love the farmgirl site and have made so many wonderful friends through the years here. I love all the swaps. I feel I know you all in a way as I am a country girl at heart. I grew up on a farm here in Iowa and now after many years am again living on the same farm or the 10 acres where the farmstead was. I appreciate all the wonderful farmgirls here on this site. Thank you for allowing me to join you and enjoy your friendship.

Marlene, you are an awesome farmgirl. I remember you were already here at the forum when I joined so it has been awhile. Glad you are enjoying the farmgirl life. What a wonderful thing to be living on the same place you grew up! Enjoy your month!

I was wondering too CJ. Does Marlene know she is suppose to choose the next one? I wouldn't have if
the person who chose me...hadn't told me. It was all so new to me back then. So, then I made sure that
I informed the person I chose.

My Dearest Marlene, I emailed you a private note earlier today. I don't even know what to say. I'm still beside myself, honestly. Thank you for such a lovely honor, I am truly touched. I received Mary Janes email this morning sharing the nomination and tears instantly came to my eyes then I panicked! LOL! I'm fairly new to MJF and am still learning my way around. Since I've joined back in February'ish, my heart has began glowing again, the fog I've been carrying around for the last few years is lifting and my heart is radiating it's sunshine again. I'm so happy and honored to be part of such a wonderful group of woman. The kindness, thoughtfulness and compassion I have seen and experienced here on the farm warms my heart beyond measure, brings tears of joy to my eyes and confirms I'm right where I need to be - I finally let go and look where god placed me... in the midst of complete beauty! Thank you Marlene, for your most thoughtful nomination, but more importantly, thank you for your beautiful new friendship! Thank you Mary Jane, for your most lovely magazine, for infusing my life with such richness, for reminding me and bringing me back to my roots! Roots of joy, truth, family and friends, the roots that truly matter and which create our foundation for a glorious life.
