Ladies...Nominating the next FGOTM is SO hard!!!! I have gone through and seen that many of the wonderful women I have found a bond withand truly inspire me and others here, on MJF, have already been nominated. (I won't name all of you, it would talk a while! ;) ) Last week, however, I was visited here, and on my farm's FB page by FarmGirlQuilting, Angie Gordon. She is a new FG and I feel by really reaching out and going the extra mile she is going to be a fabulous Sister here at the Farm! I am excited to get to know this quilting principal from FL better.
So....I nominate FarmGirlQuilting as June's Farm Girl of the Month!!

Thank you so much to Alicia for nominating me! I am so sorry I did not log on yesterday to thank everyone- but being a HS Virtual Principal we have seniors trying to finish up to meet graduation deadlines and yesterday that consumed my day! I love being a part of such an amazing group of women! When I found Alicia last week and followed her farm story I was inspired-My hubby and I both grew up on cattle ranches in central FL- it is amazing how when you are young you want to kind of get away from all of that and then as you get older you learn to appreciate all of the things that truly matter! I am an avid quilter--- I just started my own quilting business "Farm Girl Quilting"- that is actually how I came across Farm Girl Sisterhood. 2 years ago my hubby retired and at the same time we became empty nesters... we have 2 grown girls with 5 children between the 2 of them and our youngest son is in the Army stationed in WA state. So life is definitely busy! Thanks again for such a warm welcome!
