I want to thank everyone for all of the goodies! I am going to take some time here in the next few days and post some photos of all of your thoughtfulness!

I want to thank all of you for your thoughtful surprises for my Dec FGOTM. This really is a wonderful group of ladies! First, my dear friend Sara (YellowRose) sent me the adorable towel with the "kitchen" Christmas tree. Then Winnie, (Red Tractor Girl) sent me a gorgeous cardinal tea towel, wood block tree, vintage ornaments, and cute holly berry tissues. Michele (windypines) sent me the cute farm fresh towel that HER HUSBAND embroidered! I told her my husband couldn't thread a needle. Heck, I barely can! Darlene (darlenelovesart) sent me a cute bulldog card, some teas, and a nice art card, that is a swap type thing she does with various people. Looks like fun! Marlene (mburns) sent me a lovely Christmas card with a nice note inside. And of course, the Queen Bee MaryJane sent me the nice folder with my certificate, a swedish cleaning cloth (I had one of these and wore it out, so thanks!), and some homemade clothespins. She must know I hang clothes year round!
It definitely feels like Christmas with all of these goodies! Thank you ALL!!!

So my fabulous month as FGOTM is coming to an end. I want to thank Michele for the nomination; it was truly a surprise! Also all of the wonderful ladies who sent me well wishes and even goodies in the mail. It felt like Christmas every day for a while!
For the month of January, I want to nominate a gal who is so involved with the boards, always has great input, giveaways and keeps the farm interesting.

Oh my gosh!! Lisa, thank-you very much for this honor as our FGOTM for January 2024! What a wonderful way to celebrate the beginning of a new year here at MJF with ALL of YOU my Farmgirl Friends!! 2024 marks 14 years that I have enjoyed being a part of this community. It all began with the Dec./Jan issue of MJF in 2009 that I noticed while standing in line at Tractor Supply waiting to pay for a sweatshirt I found for my oldest daughter. That first issue that I read talked about so many ideas and things to make for the holidays to add fun and cheer to your home. I knew I had finally found a magazine that felt like a place I could belong. Now , my life has been enriched by every issue of MJF, MaryJane herself, and ALL of the Farmgirl Friends I have gotten to know here at our Chatroom community over the years. And to think, it all started with this.......,
One never knows where one small action will lead! Thank-you all !!
