WOW! More farmgirl mail! Thank you so much, Mary Jane and Cindy "Aussie Chick".
Mary Jane sent 3 packages of "just add water and cook in the bag" organic meals, a Queen Bee Hugs & Kisses tile necklace on a chain, a Farm Girl of the Month certificate, and a nice note in a neat card. I can't wait to try the organic meals. Thank you so much, Mary Jane!
Cindy "Aussie Chick" sent a very lovely smelling Priority Mail envelope containing a wonderful large reusable shopping bag with an old fashioned sewing machine on the front and leather handles, a beautiful clear resin soapdish with leaves and gold flakes embedded in it, 2 bars of exfoliating spa soap, several great packages of tea, some Dark Chocolate covered Hazelnuts, and a nice note. The bag may just hold a quilt sometime - it is definitely large enough for a lap quilt. Did you make the soapdish? I can't wait to make the teas and try the soaps - they smell wonderful! I know the chocolate will definitely not last long. Thank you so much, Cindy!

Thank you Hannah for the cutest hand-crocheted bag. Perfect for carrying small crochet or knitting projects. I love the stitch you used and the small handles are super. I know i will use it well!

Wow! More farmgirl mail! Thank you, Denise (levisgrammy) for the kitchen and quiltimg goodies!
I love the quilting kit - pattern and precut 2” squares for a “watercolor” mini quilt of a heart with all floral fabrics. I have a couple patterns for this method but they are larger and I have never gotten the fabric for them. I’m sure this mini will get me started.
Also in the package were a kitchen mitt, potholder and cloth with the Home #128029; pattern and the cutest dishtowel with chocolate chip #127850; cookie recipe on it. I will have to make them, right?

Thank you all for the wonderful messages and gifts I have received during my term as Farm Girl of the Month for June 2023. It has been a very special month and I am so thankful for all of you!
Since this will be a busy next few days, I am going to announce my choice for FGOTM for July 2023 today - right now, in fact. I have chosen Laurie Scott (laurzgot). Laurie has been a member of Mary Jane's Farm since May 2009, in fact she joined just one month after I joined Mary Jane's Farm; she joined MJF on my mother's birthdate! Laurie has been involved in swaps for a long time, and recently took over hosting the monthly ATC swaps. She is very creative and I know we will all get to know her better when she tells us a little more about herself. Please join me and welcome her as FGOTM for July 2023.

I am so honored Linda. Thank you so much. As Linda told you I love being on here doing swaps and getting to know y'all. We can ask questions and learn a lot. I'm a mom of 3 grown children and a teenager granddaughter. I joined MJF because I love nature, gardening, sewing, crafting and a lot more. I'm a retired surgical nurse of 37 years. I also love being able to help others when needed. Either by a kind gesture, listening or actually doing something for that person. My husband and I live in Alvin, TX. (about 30 minutes away from Galveston) We are very lucky that all our children live close by. Thank you Linda.
