Today was such a nasty, damp, bone-chilling day! But when I got home from work, there were two wonderful packages waiting for me. The first was from Karen, and boy, did it bring a summer breeze with it! Thank you so much for the sweet card, pretty paper tidbits, Jubilee hankie, and cheery bookmark!
But the most magical part was the absolutely wonderful summer themed photo album. I have never seen such a thing as this. I am looking forward to filling it with pictures of summer fun. Thank you again, dear sister!
My second package was from our beloved Queen Bee herself, Mary Jane! Thank you so much for my certificate, (which will be hung proudly on my parlor wall), the sweet card, and last but not least, the delicious food samples. I am looking forward to trying them. My husband is particularly keen to try the brownie mix, and I admit I am too! A huge thank you to both you and your amazing team that works so hard to give us this safe space where we can connect and learn and grow with farmgirls everywhere.

A huge thank you to Denise "levisgrammy" for the belated FGOTM parcel. What a gorgeous journal that you put together with lots of fun surprises throughout - some lovely flower seeds, hot cocoa, a Starbucks giftcard, yummy chocolate, little notebook & notecards. It was the gift that just kept giving. Thank you so much for thinking of me!
Hannah- great to see that you are also experiencing the warmth & generosity of fellow Farmgirl sisters during your special month. I really do hope that you can feel the love coming your way.

Cindy and Denise, that is lovely! Very cool. Yes, I am definitely feeling loved and it has been greatly appreciated. Today was packed with farmgirl mail! A swap package, valentine, and two sweet FGOTM packages arrived. It was like mini Christmas and I love my sisters.
Debbie (Blessed in Colorado) Sent me a super nifty book about ropes, knots, and splices. Lots of good seafaring knots in there and I am looking forward to reading it. Thank you so much!!!
Also, thank you Grace (katmom) for the sweet package you put together for me. That hanging towel is wicked spiffy, as is the tea wallet. That will be handy for traveling. The mini Apron is adorable. I love the fabrics and I already have an idea for its use. That little heart is cute too. Thank you for thinking of me!!!

I spent my last day as FGOTM reflecting on just how blessed I am to have such wonderful sisters and friends. It’s amazing to me how this group has come together from all corners of the country. I am so thankful to be a part of it. Thank you again, Cindy, for nominating me, and thank you, dear ladies, for all the goodies, well wishes, and love thrown my way. I certainly felt very special.
Now to the fun part! Every one of you dear sisters are so wonderful, my decision was not an easy one. After a lot of thinking, I finally settled on Vanessa Ferrell/Audra Rose. She always turns up in most of the swaps as well as in many conversations on the board. I remember swapping with her years ago, and I always found her to be super sweet. So Vanessa, enjoy the luck of the Irish and all the farm sister love this March! I’m looking forward to getting to know you better and I hope our paths continue to cross!
