Oh my stars, I received this beautiful gift box from Sundance in Utah -- such an exquisite package, I almost didn't want to open it --- just look at it. But curiosity got the better of me because it wasn't something I ordered. Now, who could it be from I wonder?? All wrapped so lovingly in beautiful yellow tissue and voila! A gorgeous "better world" dish from our very own Debbie Klann.
Thank you so much Debbie. This is definitely a gift to treasure. So very thoughtful of you.

Heavenly days. . . . you Farmgirls are spoiling me . . . it's like Christmas here in Deary Idaho.
.jpg?v 25766719) April made two adorable potholders and personalized a FGOTH card especially for me. Can't wait to read the Country magazine.
And from Debbie Dear .jpg?v 19797826) All kinds of fun goodies to get me ready for the fourth of July along with two yards of star fabric perfect for my Independence Day swap project. Beeeeutiful Queen Bee garden flag with sparkley stickers. Her sweet note brought tears to my eyes.
.jpg?v 33615975) Vanessa's awesome package of handcrafted goodies from Kentucky artisans was amazing -- Lilly of the Valley soap and the White Tea hand and foot butter is to die for. A stunning linen towel with a fun bee theme combined with a same theme potholder and everything lovingly wrapped in pieces of fabric which will certainly be put to good use.
Truly delightful . . . thank you so much dear, dear Farmgirls.

Aww, Denise . . . however DID you know how much I needed the beautiful lavender scented heated wheat bag you sent to me. After a busy day at the sewing machine or gardening chores, it sure feels good on my tired old back. Thank you so very much for such a lovely thoughtful gift.
 The silky purple and silver gift bag made such a pretty presentation too.

Oh my, I am sooooooo being spoiled . . . .
From dear sweet Winnie I received this precious personalized pin cushion.
 And, the back not shown in the pix is made from feedsack scraps . . . Winnie doesn't let anything go to waste.
Linda surprised me with an adorable little vintage style tin box full of mini binder clips.
 As you can see, I put them to immediate use.

Oh my, my June FGOTM celebration is going out with a bang . . .
Yesterday I received the most creatively wonderful little box of handmade cards from Karen. Her work is absolutely stunning.
I had to chuckle at the sweet note I received today from Heather with a plethora (I love that word) of wonderful crocheted potholders and a little coaster that I prefer to use as a mini-quilt for the fun tiny rubber goats -- how cute is that.
 Anyway her note said she couldn't decide what to send then remembered that I didn't crochet -- therefor voila . . .
I received some yummy Lavender bubble bath and soap from Mary Jane that went to immediate use . . . . you don't need to see this old wrinkle ridden bod luxurating in it's soothing bath . . . heavenly, I tell ya.
Thank you, Thank you so much for the awesome gifts and greetings. It's made an incredible month for me. You Farmgirls are the best.

Oh my, it’s that time of the month when I have to face the daunting task of choosing the next Farmgirl of the Month. And, it really is daunting, because there are so many worthy candidates. Now, I could have done it the easy way and just chosen one of my “special” friends . . . You KNOW who you are. And you are more than worthy. But I decided to do it a different way. There is one Farmgirl who has piqued my interest for a while now because she has contributed so much to the chatroom in a quiet and beautifully creative way. In researching to find out a bit more about her, I found that she has been a member of the chatroom since January of 2006. And, why in all these years has she only been named Farmgirl of the Month one time, 14 years ago, in November of 2008? I didn’t find her participating in a lot of swaps. Maybe that’s why. But oh my, what I did find was an abundance of give aways by her, and trades and barters. And she recently initiated the very thoughtful RAOK Happy Mail. I’m constantly seeing comments about the creative cards and tidbits that she just randomly mails out to Farmgirls to brighten their day. We’ve all enjoyed her beautiful photographs with their heartwarming stories that take us down memory lane. I suspect that her house should be on the National Register of Historical Places. . . A true blue, most creative, thoughtful, and thrifty Farmgirl is our next FGOTM, Nancy Gartenman. Enjoy your month dear lady. It’s long overdue.
