Good morning,
I am in my swing reading this lovely site. Sort of keeps the isolation
off of my mind. I have been confined for about fourteen weeks. Only been into four places of
business. Always with my mask on. Most people aren't wearing masks. Lots of pickups at CVS and WM for me. Thank goodness for pickups. I haven't ordered food pickup. I have managed quite well.
I just found this chat room a couple of weeks ago. It is so interesting. I really like reading how
everyone is currently living in these times. Seems we are doing the best we can. Isn't it cool how we humans can adapt?
My son, DIL and grandson live down the hill from me. We are able to socialize together.
So blessed in that. I know when they are up and at it in the morning when I see the sheep grazing down in the pasture from me. We mamas never quit worrying or being interested in our children.
I hear lots of sounds from my back porch of a morning. Birds are chirping. Hummingbirds fussing at me or the cats because we are too close to the feeder. Doves cooing. I really like hearing an occasional train whistle from the tracks about two miles from my house. That always makes me think of songs with a train reference. I hear a mama cow calling to her baby to come eat breakfast. Her milk bag is getting full and she need relief from all that milk.
I have an old dilapidated blue bird box hanging under my back porch. I have been observing a pair of wrens going in and out with bugs to feed their babies. I walked out on the porch yesterday and one of the parents began chirping very loudly at the cats and me. All of a sudden babies started flying out of the top. They were flying everywhere. On the chairs, the lattice and back to their home. Well, my cats went crazy after them. I scooped up those two cats and put them back into the house. They jumped in the windows and watched. The fledgings stayed on the porch for about two hours practicing their flying maneuvers and then took off. It was like watching my child walk for the first time.
This morning is beautiful. Sunny, No wind and a nice 75*. Need to finish potting some flowers
while it is cool.

Winnie, received your generous and lovely gifts. The soap smells amazing, the towel and wash cloth are too pretty to use,LoL! The picture amazing, teas and seeds are my thing and the cards and words precious. My husband ate the chocolate bee! He eats all the Farmgirl candy! Thank you Sisterfriend!
He ate Connie's candy and jam from a recent swap too! LoL!

Darlene, I am so happy you were able to enjoy some of the FGOTM goodies with hubby too!! Believe me, he isn’t the only Farmboy who loves to see if every package has chocolate. We have a whole host of them here at MJF, mine included!! LOL!!! I hope you are having a wonderful month too. Enjoy!
