I got your sweet package today. Thank you so much! The magnets are so nice. I love the one with the drive through tree. Wow, that is so neat. Of course The candy bar is being saved for later for my treat if someone doesn't get to it before me. lol. Your coaster has a special spot on my desk and the other magnet of the tree of California Redwoods is on the fridge already! Thanks so much for celebrating with me.

Oh my goodness I was showered with farm girl love in my mailbox today! Just look at what my mail lady brought to me. From Tennessee, Idaho, and Colorado.
Connie sent me a cute little chicken towel and one of her granny's aprons. I'll cherish that! So sweet of you Connie. And I love the sunshine card. So bright and pretty for my kitchen.

Mary Jane sent me the latest copy of her magazine, a farm girl of the month certificate and the most awesome journal I have ever seen. It has snippets from a vintage book as well as covers and it has blank pages for me to write in. It came with a card explaining about the journal. A sweet card too. I am feeling so special today.

Wait there's more.
Debbie sent me a beautiful towel with the emblems of Colorado's state flag. A pocket sized notebook with extra notepads and pen, some pretty stickers and a Woman's Day magazine. My favorite English breakfast tea. I drink it every morning! Also was a sweet note! Going to use the notebook for when I am outside working. It's when I always think of things I want to remember and now I can jot them down.

I wanted to thank everyone for celebrating with me the honor of being FGOTM for April. You all have made me feel very special and I am so grateful for all of you and for the "farm" here. The honor for me is getting to know so many of you and for the friendships forged here. My month has come to an end and now it is time for me to pass the torch on to another farm girl.
The one I have chosen seems to me to show the heart and spirit of what it means to be a farm girl. She is active here and very supportive to all. I think she deserves the honor of a special month of her own.
Farm Girl of the Month for May is (insert drum roll)........ Dawn Mashayekhi aka ddmashayekhi.

Thank you so very much everyone. This was a wonderful surprise for me. Thanks for choosing me Denise (by the way Denise is my middle name). I have loved being on the forum all these years. The sharing, caring, support and laugher keeps me coming back every day to see how my fellow farmgirls are doing!
