These are so cute. I got my first one from Richard's Aunt, then have found some since. They are older ones. I wonder what purpose they served?

Nancy I posted on your blog about them but thought I might also post here. I have some that are copper, others that are enamel and then the glass ones. Some are considered traveling lights - much like a flashlight. Others are for use when the lady of the house had to use the chamber pot and did not wish much light for that business. Others are just in place of a single candle which was what most used for the nightly tasks that did not require much light to get done. I just have about a dozen and love them and when we have lost power it is great mood lighting. Enjoy

Those are cute Deb. I like the little blue one on the right too. Do you have a lot of stuff packed away? Nancy Jo

Sadly yes I have a lot of treasures still packed away. We moved from a two story farmhouse that was built in 1899 and I had a lot of out buildings so lots of room for all my treasures. This house is a lot smaller, and although we have the same amount of acreage (3) we do not have any out buildings. I sold and gave so much away but I still have lots of boxes packed in the garage, one day I will get to them all. Plus, my dream is to own a log cabin in the woods, so all my treasures will fit right in once that dream is realized. Thank you Nancy for sharing all your treasures with us, I look every morning to see what you have to share with us that day. It is so much fun. Farmgirl Hugs, Deb
