I found these at the estate house, they are as big as Hat pins. Do you think they are for sewing? I took two pictures.

Those look old too ; I think you could use them for sewing. don't see why not .

I don't sew, but I have seen lots of hat pins similar to the picture on your blog. Nice picture.

Hat pins tend to be about 4 inches and longer. These look like corsage pins from back in the day when women wore corsages often.
