I'm looking to find non-Gmo feeds for my animals, this includes my cow, goat, and many birds. I cant seem to find a way around them, with out going over budget.... But i cant stand to say that im agianst GMO's and here i am feeding them... ANY Ideas are Great!!!
It's tough! There are several places in MN that are using transitional grains and/or organic grains. I have been looking for non-soy organic Chick Starter and have located a place fairly close to me. So I'm stoked about that. I don't know about SD though. I would think there would be some somewhere! Here's a link to a list the University of Minnesota put together: http://www.ansci.umn.edu/poultry/resources/organic_feed_sources.htm
I am interested in non-GMO and no soy feed for my heifers and donkeys. I'm feeding them Southern States products, but don't feel good about it. Hopefully someone can provide the name of a good product.
