Yesterday, hubby called on his way home from work, to pick me up and get me out of the house.....as we were driving along I saw a cute camper.

"Oh honey! Look at that! I want one of those!" I screamed out.

"Uh, honey? We can't fit in that "cute" camper..."

We laughed about it, but we are both very tall and know we would fit in something larger....so he's now "on the boat" with at least thinking about saving up for such a camper.

I'm putting more pictures of campers in my "possibilities" book today.

Oh Kristina-
Good Luck to you! At least your hubby is somewhat on board with the idea...my DH wants no part of camping .
Then again he didnt really want chickens and we have them now and he didnt want rabbits and we are getting them in 6 weeks so.....I consider my possibilites endless! LOL

Wahoooo!
I am keeping my fingers crossed for ya!
How cool! My little 'Fieldcraft' is tall but not very wide or long... check out the late 60's early '70's Shasta lo-liners, they are quite roomy.
Happy Trails!

My Hubs hates camping, also. As we were packing up for a trip last summer and he started throwing one of his little temper tantrums (mind you, he's over six feet tall and well into his "Golden Years"), I told him that if he was going to be pouty the whole time, he could just as well stay at home. Which he did. I called him every night from the campfire, and we'd chat. And we decided a bit of alone time for each of us isn't such a bad idea!

We had a Shasta to start out with - we had always been tent campers previously. Our wonderful Pastor and his wife gifted us their old Shasta Pop-up when our girls were small.

It was so tiny that I couldn't sleep with dh, he had to sleep on an angle so he'd fit in the bed! I slept on the fold down table with our youngest dd. Oldest dd fit into her bed just fine.

We've now upgraded to a newer - roomier pop-up! I can now sleep with my dh in our queen size bed. It was rough for awhile with that Shasta, but we didn't care - we were camping!

Hope you find something that fits you and your budget!
