The last few nights my adorable son has wet through his diapers. I have several types of cloth diapers and have tried doubling the inserts, making sure the backs are high enough and the legs tight enough, but my bundle of joy is having a major wet time.

Any ideas or suggestions?

thanks,
Laurie

I've heard wool covers do the best.

Me, too. Maybe also check him one more time before you go to bed.

I wish I could say that is was because he went a long time between changes, but it can be three hours or less and he's soaked through. I'll look into those wool covers.

thanks,
Laurie

Laurie- it probably has to do with him fully relaxing the muscles that control his bladder during deep sleep. Do you have the poly inserts? They are almost see through but help wick the moisture down to the diaper and leave the baby dry. I was skeptical of them for nora but they reall work.

There is another thread about cloth diapering that I posted some links too. I will try to find some of those old inserts in Nora's things and see if I can't get a picture. They were amazing and really helped!
