Yesss this past week it all went the way brother and I had hoped for. It is now MY home. I bought it lol. NEVER ever been a homeowner before because mother and I always rented and I rent my current home too. It is too expensive here in the Netherlands to buy a house, for me anyway. But now...in Thailand it is way cheaper so better for me to buy it. SO am a first time homeowner lol
I am so looking forward to making it my own little palace
I will NOT do as much pink as I did here though, it is still my favorite color to decorate with so there is bound to be some pink ofcourse but less. The furniture there will also be off-white as I have here, and the decorative touches will be mostly lilac and some pink. But mostly lilac in different shades.

In my garden I know I will at least have one Bougainvillea plant, they are so pretty and gro like *weed* there because of the temps. They are almost everywhere just besides the roads and highways so very strong AND my fave color too......pink in different shades, so pretty. And for the rest I will just have to see.

Here are some more pictures of the house I bought, remember I still have to do a lot of work decorating it in MY style lol.

Bathroom

Outside stairs, all with lovely tiles :)

Small part of open kitchen, with a view on the mountains

View from the frontdoor, on my terrace.

Woo hoo! What a cute little house! I love the tiles they have used everywhere. Can't wait to see how it turns out with your finishing touches...your plans sound great. Like Debbie says, it is nice hear you happy and in a good mood again. I'm glad you will get to be near your brother now.

Cheers! ~ Marilyn

How pretty! I love the color of the kitchen. And so sunny there. Such a big change from all teh snow and cold. Not much longer and you will be there! How close to your brother will you be? Will you have to have a car?

Oh I am so envious Dutchy! All that SUNSHINE! The house is adorable and what a great idea-with the tile; easier to clean!

It all looks so nice and new and what a great looking neighborhood.

I am SO happy for you!

Take care and Dutchy and MORE photos when you have the time. I can't wait to see your own personal touches.

Welcome home....

Congratulations on owning your own home Dutchy! It looks lovely and I'm sure will be wonderful when you've decorated it. It looks like a nice neighborhood and great for walking. I must say you are braver than me to uproot and go to a foreign country. I'm having trouble dealing with moving to a different state! So glad that you will be near your brother and that your spirits seem to be on the mend. Have a wonderful time and send us more pictures.
