I got this book today that is published by Storey. The authors are Ron Kujawski & Jennifer Kujawski. It lists what to do week by week throughout the year and has pages for notes. I think I'll find it very helpful. I'm not going to try growing so many different kinds of vegetables this year, just the ones that I know do well in this climate and I like to eat! (I've grown some veggies because they're "good for you" but I wasn't too crazy about them.) Snap peas, tomatoes, peppers, spinach, carrots, soybeans, potatoes, squash...it has articles on how to build things for the garden (a root cellar from a garbage can--who knew?). I have LOTS of good compost from my compost bin. I think this is going to be a good growing year. Cindy

This sounds great! I'll have to get a hold of a copy. I teach Plant Science and Gardening merit badges for my son's boy scout troop, and to have a resource like that to share with them would be extremely helpful to the boys who haven't ever gardened before.

I usually get my hubby a gardening book for Valentine Day, this sounds like a good one. I'll check it out. Thanks. Marly
