I have been having trouble with my scalp and hair for years. It is on the dry side and always has been a problem.I have medium texture hair and red to boot.I also have a very very sensative scalp. I was using heavy conditioners and that kinda weighed my hair down.
Then I switched to Nature's Gate sulfite free shampoo and tried Jasons also. It was better but still had issues of burning with the scalp even with skipping a day in between shampoos. I then tried the baking soda and vinager and that made it worse, even tried bar shampoo so I went back to the Nature's gate and thought this is as good as it gets. My hair has really thinned alot lately.

So I tried this Wen cleansing conditioner from QVC who was featuring it. I thought I would give it a try but its a bit pricey. I ordered the almond/mint and the teatree one. They have no detergents in them at all. Its like putting conditioner on your head...its really weird and different. They have lots of essential oils and other oils but when you rinse your hair is soft and clean. I have used this a total of 3 times skipping every other day. My hair is clean, soft and it just dawned on me that my scalp for the first time is calm and I don't feel any burning or anything. This if the first time my scalp has ever felt like this....NORMAL !!! I use a little of it as a leave in conditioner and thats it. My hair feels light and airy.....its truly strange. No sudsing or deteregent but its clean.

I don't ususally talk about products like this but I thought this was so cool and my scalp and hair just made an amazing switch in the way it feels and looks. My scalp is happy. Just wanted to share my experience and maybe it would help someone who is having problems with their hair.

Linda: I have tried the Wen hair product. It was really weird when I first used it. I kept thinking, if this stuff doesn't lather how will my hair get cleaned! I use Wen every third time I wash my hair, only because of the expense. However, it was given to me as a birthday gift during the summer. It took me about a month to finally use the product. I do like it.

I have been thinking about trying it. But we are a single income household. I am glad that you shared your experience with us. I will have to think about it again.

Plus I see they have a mint one. I love mint.

Just a word of caution. Working at the bank- we have had to file quite a few fraud claims on the company. It seems they sign you up for auto debit which was around $70! Eek! Just be careful and don't let them sign up for repetitive charges unless you are sure that is what you want!

Alee thanks for the heads up. I think that is with the Guthy Renker and HSN.I heard about the complaints that is kinda scary. I only go through QVC they have a really good rep. You can order as a one time deal or auto ship. They have a really good costumer service and have never had any problems. Not that I have ordered from them a ton but the few times I have there has been no problem. I ordered 2 and got a special price. They run that deal pretty often. The $70 dollar deal was with Guthee Renker and it was the cleaning conditioner, balm, comb and something else. I just wanted the cleansing conditioner and it was a better deal.

I do not use as much as they recommend and get by with much less. So it should last me quite a while . The almond/mint one really has alot of mint. You can feel the tingle in your scalp and the smell is heavenly. They really put the essential oils in their product. It reminds me of my rosemary/mint soap I make.

I, too, am a WEN gal, & only order through QVC. Their customer service is very reputable, & anyone wanting to try this great product can feel at ease if they order through QVC.
I have ordered other beauty products from them, tried for a while & sent back within 30 days (sometime half full) & gotten a speedy, full, refund, no questions asked.
Alee, the problems you are dealing with are off of the infommercial.
They always trick you into a neverending autoship.
If you want to try this product, ORDER FROM QVC!!

Oh and a big thanks to Lisa for telling me about Wen. If you had not told me how great your results were I don't know if I would have ever tried it. She knows I have alot of problems with my hair and skin being so sensative. I am so glad I tried it and and my scalp thanks you too.

I ordered the product once, and was never sent another delivery. If I had been sent one, I would have returned it.
