Mine is not as beautiful as your adoption certificate. For some reason, I don't want to papercraft at all lately. But she did go out today.quote:

Sorry girls that you have to kink your heads to see my Adorable Flora Ann and her sweet little
adoption paper (which is the perfect size - really!). Flora Ann flew in yesterday...but I am
still trying to figure out my new smartphone (which is way smarter than me LOL).  I absolutely
adore my Fairy Dotee Trish. Thank YOU!!!!

Trish...can I make a suggestion? How about if when we adopt a Dotee we have one
week to post another up for adoption. I think maybe some gals are afraid to adopt
one because they don't have one to immediately ready to put up for adoption. I just made
2 new dotees myself. One for my very own because I tend to give everything I make away.
And one as a Birthday Gift for my future DIL. I would love to adopt a Mystery Dotee
but would like atleast a weeks breather in between. What is your think so on this idea?

This is the Dotee I made for me: She has red beaded hair/my hair was red before it went gray.
She has purple and pink pansy fabric for her body/my favorite flowers
Also Purple and Red are my favorite Colors.
She is called "Bee Happy"...because that is what I try to be.
This one I made for a birthday gift for DIL. I call her Sadie Mae
She kind of has the look of a Bride. Thought I might add a veil too her,
but haven't decided. My son and Mercedies are getting Married in Aug.
So, I have been having fun. I want to get a Large Bulletin Board to go over
My Crafting Table To Hang All My Dotees on. Thought they would look cute
like that! What do some of the rest of you do to Display Them?

Peggy - those are so cute! I'm trying to get another dotee made so I can adopt again, just been so busy lately {laughing}. I haven't figured out how I want to display my dotees yet. Right now, they are sitting on my desk so I can see their smiling faces!

Hey Peggy, I didn't see your post because I was only seeing Dotee Dolls. You have to put something up for adoption immediately, so the thread isn't waiting on you, even if it isn't made yet. Just make sure you are able to send her out within a week or so.
I have seen other adoptions where the maker takes request for the Dotee to be adopted, for instance, I might offer up an Adopter's Choice, and then I would make a dotee especially for that person, based on perhaps fabrics I have on hand.
Today, if I offered up a Adopter's Choice Dotee, I would say: Dotee for Adoption, pick one of these: purple, patchwork, pink, tea dyed, or red, because I know I have lots of embellishments or fabric in those colors.quote:

The Mystery Dotee is RED, but is not a Valentine. She is not the Dotee from the stripper name thread. That sort of vulgar Dotee belongs over at SWAP-BOT LOL!!!

I would do your RED Mystery Dotee but I have all most all Red ones at this moment. I do have
The one St. Paddies green in my collection but I need some other colors now.
