I am addicted to Pinterest! So many great ideas out there. Thanks for sharing this board... I added it to my list that I'm following! I love all the little dresses that she's posted...soo adorable!

You also don't have to be "invited", I just joined up. It took close to a month to actually be able to "get in", but it was December, so it didn't matter to me.
Thanks for sharing that link Beverly!

I "joined" without an invitation. But it was several months ago and didn't take long for it to be "approved/accepted". You can just go to the Pinterest website. It's kinda fun and there are great ideas there . . . as well as some things that are rather outlandish, but it's fun. CJ

I joined pinterest not too long ago and only had to wait about a week to get an invite by signing up online. It's so fun to browse! Lots of neat ideas and inspiration, too.
Does Pinterest not allow you to control who follows you? I believe I have all the settings including "hide from search engines" as private as they will go but still keep getting people (mostly Japanese guys) I don't know following me. I deleted all of my boards a few days ago because I was tired of one follower's comments. They weren't offensive but did not relate to the subject of the pin and I was getting several of them every day. Anyone else with more experience on Pinterest have any tips on how to delete or prevent strangers from "following" you?
I'm still learning my way around it so maybe I'm just missing something?
Okay....I figured out what the problem was. I was subscribed to follow the best of Pinterest. So I was actually following them by default, not the other way around! I have now changed that and reset my boards so that only I can post on them. I think that will take care of it. Learn something every day!
