Hi I joined the Farmgirl Sisterhood this fall have not had time to do much, but would like for 2012 to be my Farmgirl year. I would like to connect with other farmgirls who live in Alaska. This is my third year in the state and first year in the interior. I am originally from Montana where I raised sheep, goats chickens ducks and geese. I hope to raise some laying hens this summer as my first official Alaska farm project. Any Alaska gals out there I would love to hear from you. Dawn |

Hi Dawn, I'm not in Alaska anymore, but I grew up just north of Anchorage and would love to move back! My hubby is a born and raised Chicago boy though so pretty sure that will never happen. Looking forward to hearing about your adventures up north though. Hopefully, you'll be able to connect with some other farmgirls from Alaska.

Hi, Dawn. I, too, no longer live in AK but was born and raised in Palmer and my family all still live in various parts of the state. Next week I am going up for a bit. Too bad you live so far away. It would be neat to meet up even though I don't live there any more.
