Dear CeeJay, I received a most precious package today in the mail!!! Your atc's were delightful. One had an Irish blessing on it with button.. shamrocks and wire interwoven within. It had a lovely scene of an Irish cottage and meadowview...So sweet. Then a precious little girl holding an umbrella all dressed in green with adorable ribbon with shamrocks on the ribbon, The third one is a collage of all sorts of shamrocks with eyelet and a fabric background..How cute!!! Then after all of that, she made me a most stunning shamrock apron!! CeeJay, you do beautiful work.....then I had some tea and sweet notecards. She also included a note about Grandma's aprons that made me tear up, cause my grandma wore an apron every day of her precious life. I never remember seeing her without one on..She lived with us and cured many an ill with a lift of her apron....Thanks CeeJay for everything and for the memories!!!! Smiles and hugs, Beth

Lucky charms, lucky charms. I feel like the luckiest Irish gal this morning. Received my ATCs from Deserae with all the poems, wishes and charms ... an upside down horseshoe, a lucky penny and shamrocks galore plus recipes and a beautiful St. Paddy's card. Thanx so much D. I'm lovin' these ATC swaps!

| Oh Beth , My granny wore an Apron too every day! There is not but a few pics, of her without it on, and she wipe many a tear with the end of it, and bloody noses, and you Name it! She always had extras for all of us girls to wear, on Sunday after church so we would not get our Dress dirty! After we were all grown, Some of the family drove 75 miles every Sunday ,to go to Church with our Grandparents and eat Sunday Dinner. Sometimes all of us were there( about 40) and sometimes just maybe 4, but it was always someone, till they both passed away in 2005. Oh those were Wonderful days!!! |

I know, Connie, I sure miss those times...My grandmother, that wore the apron and 2 aunts lived with us. My mom, dad, my brother and my sister along with Mama as we called her and my 2 aunts....I remember sitting around the table after church on Sunday and wanting that pulley bone so badly, but my sister always got it. She was the oldest of the siblings.. Mama could make the best tea cakes and biscuits..Smiles

This ATC is actually a rendition of "The Clan Armstrong". Lift up the vellum and there is the coat of arms (it's not the crest, the crest is quite different) and the ancient Armstrong tartan.

Picked up a package today from Connie my ATC swap partner, wow connie thank you for all my st paddy day items, what lovely ATC's and love the dish towels they will come in handy put them right up. How lucky you are to have gone to Ireland must have been a great trip. Thank you again.

Oh, so glad you like them Jill, It was an opportunity of a lifetime, to go to Ireland due to the generosity of a High School Reunion friend! She made the trip possible, by waving her Travel Agency Fee. and gave us a deal too good to pass on! I have not traveled much in my life time so far, but hope to see more of the United States of America! The Farms in Irelnd were my favorie, The pic of the sheep was in a little bed and breakfast, at the bottom of the hill, where the Kilkenny Castle Stands.

Hi :) I received a wonderful array of Irish goodness from Catherine aka Urban Chickie, yesterday. She even sent me a wee mailbox :) I just love the ATC's, so Irish. Thank You Catherine.

Hi girls, Just received the most adorable crocheted Leprechun table mat from Teresa...It is so cute!! The three atc's are lovely as well and I really loved the St Paddy's day holder for the atc's You did such a great job on everything!! Please if you will put photos on..Thank you so very much for everything!!! Loved the mailer envelope with Charlie Brown and everything March!!! Smiles
