Please lift up my 82 year old MIL in prayer. Her cancer has come back and she is set for a big round of treatment. My brother-in-law lives in the same town; we live about 800 miles away. She lost her husband in August, so she has had it rough. I pray that she will not be in too much pain.

Thank you,
Portia

P.S. I just found out that she has located a sitter who will help her out and the treatments can be done in her hometown which is much better than an hour away like she usually does. Thank the Lord for that.

Wishing for the country life!

Portia, so sorry to hear about your MIL. What a thing to go through at any age, but at 82? So glad your BIL lives so close, she will be able to get treatments close to where she lives, and that she has found someone to help her out. I, too, will be praying that treatment is not hard on her and that God will lay his healing hands on her.

Thank you, everyone, for all your prayers. I talked with her last night and she is in good spirits. She goes back to the doctor Friday and we will know more about the treatments then.
