Oh this Irish girl is most certainly in! My husband would send me back to the old country for re-training if I didn't.

Could you add me in please? I'm a near full blooded German, but I love me a good St. Paddy's Day celebration! (even I can't seem to master corned beef after 5 years of trying)

One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.

Well I see two of my favorite Irish lassies are involved...that means a party! (CJ and Diane-fiddlehead farm) So sign me up!

It is St. Patricks' Day the whole month of March here in the O'Hara houselhold!

Oh, and Wendy, don't worry about the corned beef. As long as you can slug back a beer you can be an honorary Gael!

I'm about as un-Irish as you can get...I'm 100% dutch...so tell me, Kathy, how do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day the whole month of March...I'd like to try some things with my household this year :) Joyce

Irish foods are always a place to start, Irish stew, potato soup, Irish soda crackers, smoked fish.

And don't forget the daily blessings.

Hi Joyce, I put out Irish decorations the first day of March and leave them up all month. And I make sure to invite our Irish family/friends over for dinner and drinks several times throughout the month. Bake lots of soda bread, make Irish Cream, play all of my Celtic music CDs, wear green or my Aran knits...I kind of take it on like some people take on Christmas. Decorate, cook/bake, the music, dress, jewelry etc. Maybe I go over the top, but it sure is fun for me!

Hey Joyce . . and Kathy,
ME TOO!!! It's an Irish month for us too. AND, since we are Scottish as well we celebrate Burns Night in January and St. Andrews Day in November as well as anything else we can find that embraces our heritage!!

Hi Susan,
The sign ups are still ongoing till Feb 20. After that we will be assigned with who our swappers are. Then we send the package before March 1st.

So, this time before the 20th of Feb is perfect for getting that special box packed up with surprises for your receiver! I am working on mine as I type... fun sneaky surprises with St Paddy's flavor!

I am anxious to see who I get to send the goodies to!

:o)
