Girls, have any of you heard anything from Kathy"enchanted woods" or aunt george. I am getting rather worried about them. I know aunt george has been very busy of late, but to hear nothing is rather unsettling, and Kathy was and maybe is having some problems but I know I miss them both.

I have been thinking of Aunt George and Kathy, as well as Allison (rabbithorns)a lot lately. I'm with you Nancy- I miss hearing from them. Perhaps an e-mail is on order?!

Just got an email from Aunt George today (we are doing a cookbook swap together). She said she has been working way too much lately: that's what you all thought! So I'm sure she'll be back on soon!

I'm wondering about Aunt George - she still hasn't posted since 11th August. I sent her an email a few days ago - haven't heard anything. We were in a cookbook swap together and I posted mine four weeks ago - it defintely should be there by now. I am getting a bit worried that I haven't heard from her.
Has anyone else 'spoken' to Aunt George?! I really hope everything is OK - I know she was busy with work, but it has been a long time.

Hi Nancy Jo - I feel like I have dropped off the face of the earth for a long time - as you know, or maybe you didn't I met a wonderful man this summer (I had known him through his children) and we fell in love - well, I am going to be starting divorce proceedings soon and this is so hard for me. Basically all summer I lived between two houses - kinda still am because my husband would not help take care of the animals so I moved back in here. I am getting out of years of a verbally abusive marriage but part of me aches to think of leaving my Enchanted Wood. My new man and I will be heading south - we have been scoping out W. Virginia and Tennessee - I don't think I have ever met a man as kind as this one - he is unique and is so different from the man I married.
Nancy Jo - I have to thank you for all you kind cards and little gifts. I will have you know that your lavender pillow travels with me everywhere I go and I sleep with it close to my face - it makes me feel loved.
I had a surprise litter of pups a few weeks ago, just thought my one cocker spaniel had put on weight and she had 6 puppies, I lost 3 of them and I have two very big boys and one very small little girl that I am syringe feeding most of the time. Needless to say, I am not getting much rest.
My fibro is back full swing too - from all the stress I guess - I have thought of all of you often and I am coming back.
I had an article I wrote for Learning Through History magazine accepted and it will be in the November issue - it is about the World War II Dogs of Defense - I have been doing a lot of writing and queries - also the work I do for PersonalsTrainers.com has really been great just when I needed the extra money.
I have been trying to catch up on review books and am reading The Witches of Foxglove Corners by Dorothy Bodoin.
More later - I promise, What are you reading these days?

So happy to see you on the site again, think of you often and was hoping all was well. Sounds like you are starting a whole new life, you must promise to keep me up to date on what you are doing. Are you going to move all your animals with you? Cocker puppies are the cutest aren't they? Sorry you lost three, six is a pretty big litter for a cocker isn't it? Well I have about a thousand questions. I have been wantng to send you a card from time to time but wasn't sure where you were. Great news on getting an article in the magazine, good for you!!
Please don't stay away so long this time, miss having you on the site. Just one other thing, have you heard anything from aunt George? I really worry that we don't even get a short note from her letting us know that she is ok.
Is your e'mail still the same?

Kathy, great to hear everything is turning out well for you.
BUT, I am still wondering (getting worried) about Aunt George. Has anyone out there heard from her at all? Please, please let us know. I have had no reply to emails and it has been so long now. |
