Well, that does it. I'm worried. I'm not sure what about-- I just have this strange sense of anxiety in the pit of my stomach and I'm not sure what it's about.

Maybe I'm worried the farm we might buy might fall through... maybe I'm worried it won't... maybe it's the runaround we've been getting on the title to my husband's car for the last 4 months that is likely to end in court soon... maybe its the repairs I need to do to the utility room on the house I rent. (The plywood floorboard busted and tore the linolium badly. Gotta replace the board and find some guy to put new floor down cheap.) Maybe I'm worried about having enough money to make this potential house livable. Possibly it's the fact that my detached from reality shut in younger adult sister thinks she's "in a relationship" with a younger teenage girl in Atlanta.

Could also be that my ducks are eating a lot and only 1 out of 23 hens is laying.
UGH!
Worrying is like a rocking chair... it gives you something to do but gets you nowhere.

I need to figure out whats bugging me and let it go. I think I'll clean.

Hope by now you've figured it out and let it go. Life can be overwhelming at times. Hang in there - sending prayers and good energy your way. Have a cup of tea... It helps, honest.

Ugh is right. Anxiety is bad enough when you know why it's there, but not knowing....no fun at all! I hope you can figure it out soon so you can cope with whatever is making you feel this way!

Jen: I will be praying for you, Anxiety is not good, and like you mentioned it's like a rocking chair, it'll get you nowhere. It's easy to say that, but experiencing it is not fun. Hugs.

Thanks for the prayers girls, I am feeling a lot more relaxed now. I'm usually so low key and easy going all the time, so this was really strange. I feel awful for folks that live with anxiety conditions all the time. :( its no way to be.
I started with cleaning up the pool... my skinny layer ducks figured out how to squeeze through the bars of the fence and have been using it as a pond.. yuck!!

Then I watched my duckies play for a while for some critter therapy. Then a friend listened to me vent quite expertly. Then I got all these priceless prayers. I feel like myself again.

Glad to hear you are feeling better Jen - sometimes it just all seems to much to bear and it sounds like you have a lot going on!
It's amazing what cleaning something does for you - works for me all the time - first, it's something I can control whereas there is very little else in life I can say that about:) and second, it's something you can look at with a feeling of accomplishment, and third - it usually (at our house anyway) is something that needs doing so it gives you a sense of purpose.
Toilet bowl therapy? Who knew?
Anyway - hope things continue to look brighter for you!
