Hello Farmgirls!
For those of you who have already signed up for the mail art exchange, I will be sending you the name of the farmgirl to whom you should send your unique and wonderful piece of art!
You will receive your farmgirl's name by January 15th and you will expected to send your mail art NO LATER THAN FEB 15th! If you do not mail it by the 15th, it will be assumed that you do not want to participate in the exchange. (If you have an emergency and can not participate this time around, that is totally fine, please just LET ME KNOW so some poor farmgirl isn't waiting by her mailbox!)
If you have not yet signed up but would like to, please do not hesitate to send me your information! If you do not send it in time for February, we will make sure you are able to do so in March.
Are there any questions? Please let me know if there are by posting here on this forum.

I'm so glad you posted this Rachael because I kept thinking I had a January Mail Art to make and couldn't remember, or find, who I was suppose to mail it to! Then I realized, we took of January, right? LOL

Yes, we took off January, there is no mail art exchange for January! I did the same thing last year, no worries. I am excited to get started and have already made mine even though I don't know who it is going to yet. :))

I have a question. I just sent you my info in an email. Do we send to different people every month and different people send to us each month? Also, I included my age in my email but I think it would be fun to get mail art from farmgirl sisters of all ages. We won't only be partnered up with our age group will we?

You get a new partner each month, and no I would not pair you up by age! Most folks did not include their year anyway. No worries! I just got your info so I will enter you into the system and send you your partner sometime today. We are snowed in THANK GOD so I have an excuse to work at home today. :)

Hey Farmgirls,
I have sent almost everyone their name for February, but I could use a few mail art angels (folks who send an extra mail art to someone who can not reciprocate because of sickness, family emergency, whatever...) for a few people who are sick-- if you would like to do an extra mail art please send me an email. I would appreciate it!
Thanks so much for all the enthusiasm about mail art that has been flooding my email box. It is inspiring to know there are so many people out there who like to make and create things that make people smile. I am so glad to know you all!

I received my name on Monday (?) and I am almost done with mine too, it will FOR SURE make it in time for Valentines day!

I got a nice surprise in the mail yesterday from Rachael, the sweetest Valentine Mail Art, I love it! It is sitting on top of my entertainment center for all to see. Thank you so very much. Picture coming later as I could not get it to download.

I am so glad you like it! It is made from recycled parts. The girl and boy are part of a valentine my grandfather sent my grandmother in the 1952. He was so good about sending her cards.

I received the most wonderful mail art from CJ this weekend! We've had a virus going around our house, and it was such a wonderful cheerful surprise! I'll post pictures as soon as my tech-savvy daughter uploads them to my computer later this morning, but she sent the sweetest little valentine-themed journal and card/tag, all wrapped up in a valentine bandana. I've been participating in a gratitude challenge this year, counting 1000 gifts/blessings, and I think this little journal will be perfect for recording them in one place. Thank you so much!

I appreciate everyone responding to my emails to let me know you got them, that is a great help to me!
I would still like to hear from : Pam, Whittney, Jennifer, Lorrae, Beth, Shelly, and Trish! Please let me know that you received your partner's information!
Also, please remember that your mail art should be mailed by Feb 15th.
Please allow a reasonable amount of time for it to arrive too before letting me know you did not receive your mail art for the month.
Now, sometimes there are times when you do not receive a something in the mail- it got lost, someone forgot, there wasn't enough postage-- it is rare, but whatever the reason, please let me know and I will do my best to track it down. Please also be patient, because sometimes it just happens!
Lastly, thank you so much for posting pictures!I would like to encourage you to take photos of your own mail art or the mail art you receive and post them for everyone to see. They inspire each of us and we like to see what farmgirls are sending each other!
