I hadn't heard from them for a while because his internet is down again duh. His puter also needs working on so no mail from him lately. I have been mailing him constantly but no reply. I KNOW his internet and puter are down but still...missed him too much. SO.....this very early morning (5 AM my time) I just picked up the phone and called them lol. He was SO happy to hear from me too....we talked about 6 or 7 minutes, also talked to brother in law for a few minutes...it is SO expensive calling from here to Thailand . So won't be doing that again in the near future but it was still so good to talk. He is working on some ideas...can't divulge them yet but they are AWESOME ideas ...NO they won't move back here lol. They are having a wonderful house there...friends and a good life so....NO coming to the Netherlands Brother can't either for his health will decline again and that is NOT worth it to me either.

Just wanted to let you know it is looking a little brighter for me now NOT out of the depression etc...but just feeling a little better. Thanks for all the good wishes.

Dutchy, I don't know if the Netherlands is similar to the states(me not too swift) BUT in the states if you look hard enough there is a phone program where I can call Inida FREE. the other programs can run like 13 cents a minute.

Marian, I am so glad you got to talk to your brother. Sounds like he is doing great where he is. I hope all his plans work out for him soon. And that he gets a new computer for Christmas!

Bev, yes there ARE programmes here like that too. Calling the USA for me costs about 2 or 3 cents a munute.....but Thailand is STILL expensive even with those programmes. There might be others that are cheaper but since we Skype and email...(normally duh) not really interested enough to look for them lol

YAY!! SOOOOO glad you got to talk with him. Sometimes you just have to call . . . I have two brothers, one in North Carolina and the other in Oregon. Three sisters, one in British Columbia, one in Denver, Colorado and the 3rd lives just down the road . . . and I work as a caregiver for her. Sometimes communication via email is terrible. I don't understand it because they all have hi-speed internet. And, for anything to come by the regular postal service, where they would have to actually write anything on paper, affix a stamp and address the envelope. . . forget that! It's frustrating!
Anyway, I'm glad you were able to do that . . and I'll be praying for more Christmas GOODness for you!

Glad to hear things aren't quite so dreary for you now that you've gotten to talk to your brother! When you start feeling low again, just remember how great it was to feel the love you got to feel this morning! Merry Christmas!

Audrey
