So I picked yesterday to start Travis' sweater for Yule. Right? Yule is in like 3 days you say? yah. I'm totally nuts.
So I get the yarn and lament about it to Travis and he asks me "Are you getting yourself into a project again that you can't reasonably get yourself out of?" he knows me too well.

So I knit the swatch, check my gauge and then decide something brilliant! Instead of killing myself in three days, I thought I would just embroider the swatch with a love note and staple it to a color printout of the finished sweater. Bought myself a month.

That's how we roll in the hood... ;-)

Love it. Great idea.

I showed a picture of the sampler that I am cross stitching for my hubby for our 15th wedding anniversary. So I am free to take as much time as I need. LOL

Oh my...very clever! But I have been married for 41 years and my hubby knows that he might be getting that sweater a couple of Christmas later! And he still loves me anyway.

Brilliant! Christmas eve and I was sweating it, but this is going to solve at least one problem. Thank you and Merry Christmas
