with picture frames. When we moved here 7 1/2 years ago, I had 3 boxes of picture frames all with pictures of my family in each one. I kept the boxes out in the "cat room" all this time. I just didn't have the walls to hang them all up here so just left them out there.
This morning while laying in bed not wanting to get up, I had an idea of what to do with all the pictures. Take them all out of the frames and put them in a scrapbook, which I should have done years ago.
So I just went out and started taking the pictures out of the frames. BUT, some of the pictures are STUCK to the glass! And some of them are of my kids when they were little and cute and sweet and I want to remember them that way and I am so afraid I have ruined them. Is there anything I can do to get these photos off the glass without ruining them? Or should I take them to a photography shop? HELP!
I've never worked with glass so take my suggestion with a "huh??". . .
Could you get a glass cutter and maybe cut out the most significant parts of the picture? If the edges are rough, press with some kind of silver, copper foil and make Christmas ornaments? Just leave the glass where it is and don't even think about getting the picutre off. Leave where they are at and create from that perspective.
I'll keep pondering. . . .

My Hubby came up with the idea to cover our doors with ours. We have no wall space, so he used liquid nails and attatched them all to the doors with 2 drops in each bottom corner. That way they can be removed with a hacksaw blade slid between the frame and the door, should they need changed or get damaged.

I read some where that you should use a blow dryer on med...warm up the glass and slowly..slowey peel the picture off. I have never tried it....Worth a try! Let us know.
