I hope some of you girls can help me, I am knitting my son a scarf/muffler for Christmas, I ordered my yarn from Knit Picks and of course I did not order enough. Guess what? They are out of what I need until 12/24/2011. Not any Black will do it has to be:

Knit Picks
Shine Worsted
Black
60% Pima Cotton, 40% Modal
75 yards/50 grams Lot # 7025
25348
The yarn is made in Peru and is so soft and nice.

I need 4 skeins but will take what anyone has, I want to pay for the yarn plus the shipping. It is $2.49 a ball on Knit Picks.

Thanks so much for any help you girls can give me.

Farmgirl Hugs,
Deb

Hey Debbie,

I do not have any, but did a search online and could NOT find it! I understand what it feels like to run out of something and not be able to find it. On the below link, I saw that exactly what you need you should be able to get 1/6/12, but the wrong lot# :(. I did find another that has the same blend #'s. It is below. I'm not sure the difference between worsted and sport. This may not work at all, but I thought I'd post what I found.

I wish you luck and a Merry Christmas:)

Thanks so much Ashley that was so sweet of you to check for me. I will check out the Shine Sport and see if it is close enough.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.

Deb

My dear Debbie!
Wish I could help you out . . . I know exactly how it is! But there is virtually no resource around here for yarn, etc.
Hope your weekend was fun!

Hi Debbie, have you checked Ravelry? You can check out other people's stashes and convo them to see if they would be willing to sell. Let me know if you need more help with this!
