For some reason, a few of these internet providers aren't letting this word doc open? I suggest you open another email account with Yahoo just for swaps, haven't had a problem with yahoo. Debbie H , email me again and I'll try to send it one more time, if not, open a yahoo account. Debbie J, I did send it again, let me know. Thanks!!

I was able to do some research and found that the document format is an archaic version of Word which is why it won't open for me. I use a mac but have OpenOffice which generally opens everything but I can't get it either.
Sorry gals but I guess I need to sit this one out after all.

I wasn't able to open mine either. I have a yahoo account, but I am not very computer literate so i'm not sure what I need to do to open up this format. I'll ask my brother if he can figure it out when I see him this afternoon.
Catherine, if I can get mine open I can type it up on "Pages" (I think that's what Macs version of word is) and send it to you on my brother's Mac. Let me see what I can do....or I should say, let me see what my brother can do. lol! I'll let you know what happens and if you still haven't been able to open it, I'll ask you for your e-mail address so I can send it!

Not working for me either - it won't download on my version of Word. Boo-hoo - I hate to pull out now, as I have all my cards made and ready to go....

I had to install a converter to open the list. This is how I did it:
I clicked and dragged the wmp file from my e-mail to my desktop
then I tried to open it, and it gave me two options...I chose the second, too look for a program to open (or something like that, now it doesn't show up because it opens up the file right away)
Next I chose Microsoft Office Word, then MOW said it needed a new program to open it as it was old. So it asked me if I wanted to download a newer version, I clicked on yes, and it took me to a website where I chose the "Download" button. It only took a few moments and now I can open the file just fine.
I wish I knew more about computers so I could explain this better, but maybe some of it will help.

| I, too, am unable to open the attachment on my Mac. I suggested to Sue that she post on this site - looks like there are alot of us who are going to have to drop because of this problem. I have my valentines in envelopes waiting to be addressed. What to do????? |

I copy and pasted the list into a Word document. If anyone is still having trouble and wants me to send the list to them, e-mail me. I was going to go through the thread and send it to anyone who said they were having trouble, but I can not send attachments through Mary Janes e-mail. I will be able to in a reply to your e-mail.

Not a good idea to post the list on the forums? If anyone can help out and send the list to those who can't open it, I'd greatly appreicate it!! I don't know why it's being a pain, I always use Word for this list and no troubles? So sorry to those who can't open it, hang in there, we will get it figured out one way or another!!

I've also contacted Sue and Emily. I never received a list at all.
Between the two of them hope I can get the list as I handmade all the
valentines ahead of time. I'm sure it will get figured out!

Yeah!!! Thanks to Emily I was able to download the list. I do have a
correction for my address. It is minor but may make a difference. It
should say P.O. BOX and then the number. The word "Box" got left out.
Looking forward to sending out and receiving all the valentines!
Juneanne, send me your address and I will send you a valentine as

THANK YOU BIG time Emily for coming to the rescue here with the list!!! I have no idea why it's been such a hassel this year? I've never had this happened before and I always use the same program, the only one on my pc to make these lists?? BLess your heart!!!!
