Do you all swap yo-yos to have large variety of fabrics?

So far...this is the only project I have done. That is all the Yo-Yo's from our first round that I
hosted. I have also taken individual ones and sewn a pin-clasp on the back and given them in cards
as little encouragements. People wear them on hats or sweaters or jackets. They are so darn cute!
I have also given packages away of ones I have made...in swap boxes so other crafters can use them.
I have also used them in some of my Mail-Art pieces and other multi-media pieces that I do.

One of our gals Judith...made a cowgirl hat-band with hers...so adorable!

I always want people to share what they do with them to give us all ideas. But for the most part I think
we are just addicted to making them...because they are fun and cute! LOL

Come and join us Trish and you can become addicted too. Ha Ha! No...the invitation is serious. Please give it a try.

blessings,
Peggy

I haven't made any myself, however Peggy has made some for me from scraps I've sent her. I use them with the pin on the back and pin them on garments. I have one on each of my aprons . . . I make and sell aprons. Whichever one I wear at market has one on it.
Peggy, I love the heart shaped wall-hanging!

Thanks CJ for commenting. That is just one more idea we can add to our list.

And they are so cute and sweet aren't they? I am looking forward to our Valentine Swap
as we will be making them in 2/2/2's. 2 pink, 2 red, 2 white...with pretty Valentine or
fancy buttons.

The wall hanging was fun CJ and I will probably make some similar ones for gifts...on a smaller
scale.

Hugs and Smiles,
peggy

I might have to join in. It looks like you are wrapping up on a swap now. I'll keep an eye out for the next one. I would use the clover yo-you makers, I hope it would be ok, there are lots of sizes.

I would like to make something like Peggy made, and put it in a shadowbox frame.

Margo...that was a cute ornament!

I also forgot to mention that you can string the hearts side to side and make garland
out of them too. Just another idea I heard of. Not necessarily for a tree but you could
string over curtains, doorway, wall, etc.

Trish...I like your shadow box idea too! That's the kind of ideas I want everyone to share.

Blessings,
peggy
